A AGF Equipamentos® showed that it is prepared for the foreign market and carried out its first closed container export to the European continent. With loading carried out on September 10 and arriving in Portugal on October 15, the exported product was Máquina à Fio Diamantado, the national sales leader in the mining sector and the company's flagship. They have an automated cutting and feeding system, through a double inverter, which allows a more productive, safe and less expensive extraction process.
According to Emerson Marinato, export manager at AGF Equipamentos®, teamwork was a fundamental part of achieving this achievement. "It was a process that ended up involving the company as a whole, as several employees worked in different parts of the procedure, and each contributed significantly to everything being carried out as planned," he said.
As in every achievement there are challenges to be faced; in this export process to Europe, it was no different. For Emerson, the biggest challenges, which also served as a lot of learning, were the adaptations of the machines and the large number of documentation required by Europeans. "As it is a direct export, the procedure demands from the exporting company, full knowledge in all stages, from documentation, to packaging, transactions, etc.", he said.
According to Alex Pacheco, managing partner of AGF Equipamentos®, even with the current economic scenario resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, plans for the company's future in the foreign market are promising. “Considering the good performance in the last months of 2020, the expectation is for growth, above what was verified in 2019.“ We have ambitions for the Latin American market, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Argentina are in our front line ”, said .
