As a way of reminding and making employees aware of men's health, especially the prevention of prostate cancer, AGF Equipamentos® carried out an internal action in favor of “November Blue”, especially on November 27, 2020, at company headquarters in Espírito Santo do Pinhal and its branches. The action included methods of mobilization, guidance and dissemination of the theme.

At first, the Human Resources department, together with the Marketing department, asked the company's employees to be dressed in blue on this date, which would be called “The Blue Day”. Later, the employees were separated by departments and taken to a space specially prepared by the company, where they received a booklet full of information and guidance.

The booklet addresses important issues about men's health care in general, with a focus on prostate cancer, which is the main theme of the November Blue campaigns. Among the information and guidelines contained in the booklet are the risk factors for the possible development of prostate cancer (age, physical inactivity, family history, etc.), the definition of prostate cancer, symptoms, treatment and, especially, the importance of an early diagnosis in the fight against the disease.

According to Brenda de Oliveira, responsible for the Human Resources department at AGF Equipamentos®, companies play an important role in society and the realization of campaigns such as the November Blue, reinforces the fulfillment of the duty of citizenship. “In carrying out this type of action, our company demonstrates its concern for the health and well-being of the general population, in particular, of our employees. I am very happy to be in charge of this campaign ”, declared Brenda.

Then, employees were invited to take photos in a special frame of the Blue November, to be disseminated in the company's media. The action encompassed all the company's employees, with an average of 60 male employees at the headquarters of Espírito Santo do Pinhal alone.
